Dr. Grubb received his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the prestigious Mayo Clinic and fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Grubb is Board Certified by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a member of various faculties and societies. As an expert in minimally invasive spine surgery, Dr. Grubb has contributed to multiple spine journal articles and books. In addition, he presents his work at national and local meetings as well as travels all over the country teaching his techniques. Dr. Grubb is involved in research and innovation of several minimally invasive techniques and tools. Dr. Grubb has been performing minimally invasive surgery for nearly his entire career.
