She is a native of northeast Ohio and graduate of the Physician Assistant Program Cuyahoga Community College in 1994. Maureen has a special interest in spine research, particularly clinical outcomes studies. Clinically, she knows from experience the importance of the patient taking an active role in their individual treatment program. The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants has affirmed her status of Physician Assistant, Certified. She is also licensed by the Ohio State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners. Memberships are maintained with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Ohio Academy of Physician Assistants.
